Quick Answers to Your Questions
How much does a project cost?
Some services have fixed pricing, while others are tailored to your business and project requirements. You’ll receive a clear quote before any work begins, with no hidden costs.
How long does a project take?
Project timelines vary depending on the service. Some projects are completed in as little as one day, while larger branding and website projects typically take up to six weeks.
Do you work with businesses in Sydney?
Yes. Evergreen Design Studio works with businesses across Sydney and Australia. We work with clients online and in person, following the same structured design process from strategy through to launch.
Do I need branding before getting a website?
Every website needs a brand identity, but that doesn’t always mean you need a full rebrand. During our discovery process, we’ll review your existing branding and determine whether it’s ready for a new website or whether investing in branding first will give you the best long-term result.
Will I be involved in the design process?
Every website needs a brand identity, but that doesn’t always mean you need a full rebrand. During our discovery process, we’ll review your existing branding and determine whether it’s ready for a new website or whether investing in branding first will give you the best long-term result.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Absolutely. A redesign is more than updating the look of your website. We’ll review your business goals, audience and user experience to create a website that’s more effective, easier to navigate and designed to better support your business.
Will I be able to update my website myself?
Yes. Every website includes easy-to-follow video tutorials, so you’ll feel confident updating your content whenever you need to.
Do you provide website hosting?
Yes. Hosting and website care packages are available to keep your website secure, updated and running smoothly after launch.
Can you design just a logo?
While we don’t offer standalone logo design, we do create logos as part of our Brand Strategy & Design package. Your logo is only one part of your brand identity. By considering your business, audience and long-term goals, we create a cohesive brand that’s built to grow with you.
What do you need from me before we start?
You’ll complete a simple questionnaire and provide any existing content or assets. This gives us a clear direction and helps the project run smoothly from the beginning.
What happens after my website launches?
Once your website is live, you’ll receive your video tutorials along with the option to join a website care plan for ongoing support, maintenance and hosting.

This was for a children’s centre and I learned so much throughout this project, especially when it came to written content.
It was important to create an interactive website that stood out from competitors so parents remember them as soon as they land on the website.

A lot of clients worry they’re being “too indecisive.”
They don’t want to ask for another revision. They don’t want to change their mind. They don’t want to feel like they’re making the process harder.
This project went through three logo revisions.
In the first round, we explored symbols of knowledge and opportunity. The client loved the concepts, but they felt a little too young for the brand they were building.
For the second round, we explored a crest direction.
Again, the client loved the concepts. But something still wasn’t clicking.
Before starting another revision, we jumped on a call together.
We opened Pinterest, looked through the original inspiration, and talked about what stood out. The conversation was about understanding what the brand should feel like.
By the end of the call, we had a much clearer direction.
The third revision brought together the strongest parts of the first two concepts. It kept the meaning from the original direction while introducing the elegance and maturity the client had been looking for.
While we refined the logo, we also moved ahead with the website wireframes so the project continued to progress.
One thing I love about branding is watching the direction become clearer as the project unfolds.
The first idea doesn’t have to be the final one.
Sometimes you need to explore a few different paths before you find the one that feels right.

Designing a logo doesn’t always start with sketching.
For this fictional candle brand, the brief was to create something that felt warm, refined and timeless.
My first idea was a flame. It made sense, but it also felt like the first idea everyone would have. And it would have been too cliche and literal, in my opinion.
So I created a noun list using the brand-noun method. It’s an awesome, time-saving one!
I started writing down words and looking for connections.
That’s how I landed on tree rings.
They reminded me of the Australian bush, represented the passage of time, and connected back to timber and warmth without using a flame.
It’s a simple exercise, but it often helps me move past the obvious idea and find something with a stronger story.
This is Episode 1 of my 1 Hour Logo Challenge.
Every episode, I’ll take on a new fictional brand brief and see what I can create in just 60 minutes.
What would your first idea have been?
