If you picked Brand in a Week...

01 Monday

Brand direction & logo design

We begin by creating your logo concepts and establishing the creative direction for your new brand. Every design decision is guided by the strategy we’ve developed together before your project begins.

02 Tuesday

Feedback & refinements

You’ll review your logo concepts and provide feedback. We refine your chosen direction until you’re confident we’ve landed on the right identity for your business.

03 Wednesday

Final logo suite

Once your logo is approved, we create the remaining logo variations and prepare your complete logo suite for every application.

04 Thursday

Brand assets

With your logo finalised, we design the supporting elements that bring your brand together, including your colour palette, typography, graphics, patterns, icons, and other agreed brand collateral

05 Friday

Final delivery

Your complete brand package is delivered, including all logo files, brand assets, and your brand guidelines. Everything is organised and ready for you to start using across your business immediately.

If you picked Website in a Week...

01 Monday

Strategy & homepage design

We kick off the week by designing your homepage. This sets the visual direction for the rest of your website, including layout, colours, typography, and user experience. By the end of the day, you’ll review the homepage and share your feedback before we move forward.

02 Tuesday

Feedback & refinements

Today is all about refining the homepage based on your feedback. Once everything is approved, we’ll apply the design direction across the remaining pages so your website feels consistent from start to finish.

03 Wednesday

Website development

With the design approved, we build your website on WordPress or Shopify. Your pages are developed, mobile responsiveness is checked, and the foundations are prepared for launch.

04 Thursday

Review & final tweaks

You’ll receive your completed website to review. This is your opportunity to request any final refinements before everything is prepared for launch.

05 Friday

Launch day

It’s time to launch. We complete our final quality checks, connect your domain if needed, and take your new website live. You’ll also receive a handover so you feel confident managing your website moving forward.

From the 'gram

  • Designing a logo doesn’t always start with sketching.

For this fictional candle brand, the brief was to create something that felt warm, refined and timeless.

My first idea was a flame. It made sense, but it also felt like the first idea everyone would have. And it would have been too cliche and literal, in my opinion.

So I created a noun list using the brand-noun method. It’s an awesome, time-saving one!

I started writing down words and looking for connections.

That’s how I landed on tree rings.

They reminded me of the Australian bush, represented the passage of time, and connected back to timber and warmth without using a flame.

It’s a simple exercise, but it often helps me move past the obvious idea and find something with a stronger story.

This is Episode 1 of my 1 Hour Logo Challenge.

Every episode, I’ll take on a new fictional brand brief and see what I can create in just 60 minutes.

What would your first idea have been?
